Ernest "Ernie" McGuire, 68, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and was a member of the Catholic Church. Ernie graduated from El Paso High School and enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to music and spending time at family gatherings. Ernie is preceded in death by his mother Trinidad McGuire. He is survived by his father Bernardo McGuire; loving children Alison and Ernest "Tutu" McGuire II; grandson Nicholas Rodriguez; brother and sisters Benny (Romie) McGuire, Elvia (Louie) Roacho, Melinda (Tury) Saucedo; nieces; nephews and other extended family members who loved him immensely. A vigil will be held at San Jose Funeral Home-Pellicano Dr. on Tuesday, June 19th from 6:00pm-8:00pm with a rosary at 6:30pm. Ernie will always be remembered for his loving personality, amazing spirit and his sense of humor. Ernie will be greatly missed by everyone.
