My EPHS memories of Michael are that he was a good guy with a quick smile and a good sense of humor.

Bless you and your family.

(I also remember Michael claiming to have bitten an opponent's calf when he was buried under a pile during a sub-varsity game!!!)

Spending time with Michael at the 40th Reunion was delightful.  He promised to name a goat after me.  Johnny and I both have great memories of Michael Quarm... a warm and gentle soul.  He will live on in all of our hearts.  Farewell our friend...

Probably one of 3 of the closest buddies of mine in HS. Met in Sunset Hts. during the 6th grade. Played football and went hunting jack rabbits together during HS. Unabashed drinking buddies, OMG! Keen wit! Great story teller. Just all around warm human being. In the years since kept in touch via letters and visits to him in San Diego while he was in the Navy. Last saw him in 2010 on his little farm in Caballo. He, at least then, was contented with life, and had become quite the gentleman in the British sense of the word.

Sad to hear he went at fairly earlier age by today's standards. WILL attend his memorial which I hear is coming in teh spring.
